Questions for Week Four Chapters 20-24
I liked all the twists and turns and unexpected developments such as the unmasking of
Henry, finding out about Logan's affliction, discovering who Kimber was in league with and more. I also liked that Heven found her strength at the end. I think she is going to be a force to be reckoned with in Tirade.
2. The characters travel to hell in hopes to get the scroll back. I would say hell is the worst place they have ever been. Where is the WORST place you have ever been?
The worst place I have ever been... well that is hard. I can't say that I have spent any length of time in someplace awful. I would say, though that bad places for me are gas station bathrooms and those outhouses in campgrounds without flushing toilets and port a potties. I try and avoid these like the plague because not only do they smell but they are just crawling in germs...ugh I got nauseous just typing this and thinking about the smell. Another terrible place that I have been unfortunately too many times is Phoenix during rush hour. Before we moved to Portland we lived in Phoenix and commuted two hours each day. Grid lock traffic is the worst. I don't miss that one bit.
3. Heven steps in front of a chain to protect Sam and is injured. She will be scarred again. Do you think she will act the same way as before or do you think that she is a different person now?
There is no way that Heven will resort to hiding and her days of low self esteem. I know she has found her strength in Sam and she will move Heaven and Hell to get him back. Just by her actions at the end of Charade I know we are going to see a new Heven in the next book, one who,I hope, is going to kick ass and take names later. I think the title alone tells the tale of Heven's feeling: Tirade.
I think he will have a whole new outlook on life and hopefully be at peace and much happier. I don't doubt that he will be a help to Heven in recovering Sam. I was pulling for Logan the entire way and I am anxious to meet the new Logan.
5. Any predictions for the next book in the series, Tirade?
I expect Heven to raise a ruckus to get Sam back, and I am hoping that Kimber sees the error in her ways and that she becomes an ally. And that is about it as far as predictions go, with any book by Cambria Hebert, I have learned to expect the unexpected because she always manages to surprise me.
That's a wrap on The Charade Read Along. I hope you all enjoyed the
ride. Be sure to grab your copies of Masquerade and Charade right now while they are on sale for $.99. Head to Cambria's blog on November 30th for the release party of Tirade and the wrap of The Charade Read Along. Also, watch for Deck the Halls with Heven and Hell in December!
