Happy 2013 Everyone! Hope you all had a wonderful holiday season. I was on blogging break from December 25th-January 1st and I really enjoyed my time away from the blogosphere....not that I didn't miss you all but I needed a chance to recharge my batteries. I spent a nice quiet Christmas at home with my family. I did read a few books, including Laini Taylor's Days of Blood and Starlight. Even though I didn't get through as many of the titles I have been dying to read, I still enjoyed my break. During the holiday I ran two big blog hop Giveaways:
The Best of 2012 Giveaway where I highlighted my top reads of 2012 and I polled all the entrants, and the book that came up the most for best book was Fault in the Stars by John Green. So now I am endeavoring to read this title. Have any of you read it?

So far 2013 hasn't been too wonderful for many of you, since there are a lot of people out there with the flu. As for me, I spent all day in bed on Thursday after one of the worst bouts of food poisoning ever. Let's just say it was grosser than gross. Glad that it only lasts for a day, but it sure was a miserable day. Let's get all this sickness behind us! Feel better everyone!
The other thing I have been hearing about for 2013 is that many bloggers are on a book buying ban and tackling that TBR. I can say I am ready to jump on the bandwagon. My blog is booked up through April already with ARCs. It is time to step back and catch up and pick up some of these series I have been wanting to read. So once I get through the next few months I plan to do just that. Good luck with your book buying bans everyone. Let's work together to get these TBRs tamed!
