Now onto the Sunday Post.......
The Sunday Post is a weekly post hosted by Kimba@ the Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It is a chance to share all the news and highlights on your blog for the past and upcoming weeks. Head over to Kimba's for details and to link up!
Brrr! We are having cold, blustery weather here this week. Our daytime highs have been in the upper twenties and in the teens at night, which I know is not cold by Idaho standards where I grew up, but still it is cold for Portland. This weekend we are having a winter storm with snow, wind and freezing rain. A real treat....NOT! This is definitely the time to stay inside and cuddle up with hot coffee and a blanket.

The Olympics have finally started. I have said this before, but it bears repeating.... I can't stand NBC's coverage. I hate that they don't start until 8 p.m. at night and go until after 11 every night. How are younger kids supposed to watch during the school week? Not to mention the fact that by the time they air, everyone knows the results. They really need to revamp the way they broadcast. I am hoping to try live streaming this time around. Hopefully I can time manage so I can keep up with the blog as well.
What do you all think of the Olympics?
The blogosphere is ramping up and there are so many fun events coming.
There are numerous read a thons, blog hops and challenges. So many that I have lost track.
However, Fire and Ice, finally kicked off yesterday, and it started out with a smashing good book and guest post. I highly recommend you visit yesterday's post, Ophelia London stopped by and she is giving away an iPod shuffle! AWESOME!
Be sure to stop by all week for some more terrific guest posts and giveaways.
The Fire and Ice blog hop is going as well. It is a smaller hop so you can easily go through and enter all the giveaways. There are some good ones! You can't win if you don't enter, so what are you waiting for?
In other blog news, I ran across a fantastic post by the lovely Felicia@The Geeky Bloggers Book Blog.
Are you utilizing your library to its fullest? I know I am not. Felicia outlined many of the new benefits at the local library. For all you trying to control your book budget, check out Felicia's post, it is very informative!
Also the wonderful Jenny@Supernatural Snark finally launched her Seedlings website for cover design. Jenny does an amazing job and if you are in need of some design work, head over and check her out. Not to mention she is a fantastic gal!
Another terrific blogger is also launching a new venture. Beth@Living A Goddess Life Blog started her own mineral makeup line. I am a huge fan of mineral make up and I have worn it exclusively for fifteen years. Beth has some amazing, sparkling eyeshadows at a great price. I love that she named them with book related titles. Watch for my post with Beth coming up in March! Head over and see her stuff on her Printcess site. I highly recommend the Slippers and Villain shadows. They are so glittery and pretty!
