Hello from wet, soggy and muddy Oregon. It has been another wet and rainy week here. So far in October, we have only seen three completely dry days. It has rained and rained and rained. We are on track to break the all time record for wettest October, we have to top 8.84 inches, and I think we will either break it or get close. Normally, we have lots of nice, sunny weather for people to get out and enjoy the Fall weather, and do fun activities like hayrides, corn mazes and pumpkin patches. Not so this year. I accompanied Mateus on his field trip to the pumpkin patch, and it was a muddy mess. The kids were wading through mud to get pumpkins and some fell. By the time they were done, everyone was caked in mud and grime. Since it was so wet, they weren't able to play on the haystacks and do some of the other fun things. Hopefully, we will get some nicer, drier weather in soon. Otherwise, we are in for a long, wet winter. How is the Fall weather treating all of you?
Are you all ready for the big day? Can you believe Halloween is on Monday? Where did the month of October go?

I am so happy that I finished my dragonfly cross stitch this week. Many of you asked to see it when it was complete, so here it is:
It is a gift for my sister in remembrance of our mother. I hope she loves it. The picture doesn't show all the lovely detail, the beads, the crystals and the sparkly threads. It is truly gorgeous!
Finally, a sadder note. I was sad to hear that my long time blogging buddy and friend, Jenny over at Supernatural Snark is saying goodbye from blogging. Jenny was one of the first bloggers I connected with, and she and I have been blogging friends for almost five years. I love her reviews and I am thrilled that she has achieved success with her book cover designs that sprouted from her blog. Way to go, Jenny. Jenny isn't completely saying goodbye to the book world as she is continuing to work on her designs. Her business has grown so much that blogging is becoming increasingly difficult. I think many of us long time bloggers know how it is. I too have felt like stopping, especially after this last year. Blogging is a lot of work and commitment. Anyway, thanks for everything, Jenny, you will be missed. Best of luck in your future endeavors. I will be following you on Facebook.
