Whew. Another week gone by in January. So far, this month hasn't been he kindest to us here in Oregon. We have two ice storms and a record setting snow storm that has closed school five days this month and kept many of us holed up for days. We were snowbound for almost a week. Needless to say, my sanity was on the verge of cracking. Luckily, I had good books and my cross stitching to keep me sane. Tuesday brought us freezing rain and then straight rain as our temps jumped from below freezing to almost 50 degrees, melting the snow and dumping rain. Now we have flooding. Is it spring yet? How about we take our minds of our troubles and focus on happy things, like new books. I have a preview of all the yummy books hitting shelves this week. As always share your weather and tell me your book picks for the week. (Click on covers for details).
