What are some of your favorite romance novels so far this year?
February is the time of year that I am most likely to reach for romance novels, not that they aren't perfect for anytime, but winter is when I like to cozy up and read something light and fluffy. I am on the hunt for some great romances, so I hope you will share some of your favorites with me. Here are some of the best romances I have encountered in the last couple of months:
Wicked Cowboy Charm by Carolyn Brown: This is the perfect cozy, feel good read for a winter afternoon. I loved the blizzard setting, the road trip. the characters and the romance. I couldn't get enough of Josie, Deke and Rascal as well as Everett and Martha. I loved this book! I am sad to see this series end. I definitely recommend this book for when you need a feel good read.
Paris for One and Other Stories by Jo Jo Moyes: This book is an enjoyable collection of romantic stories. Some are sweet and wonderful, while others are a bit prickly. Still, I enjoyed exploring all the different type of relationships. I would highly recommend reading this book for the title novella: Paris For One. This is a nice collection for anytime you want something light and romantic.
Roman Crazy by Alice Clayton: This is the perfect winter escape novel. I loved traveling vicariously to Rome while reading this. The setting is delightful, the romance hot, and the story is entertaining. I would highly recommend this book for anyone who is suffering a case of the winter blues, or it is perfect for anytime you need a great escape read.
P.S. I Like You by Kasie West: Here is an adorable, feel good romance that is perfect for all readers who want something fun and cute. I loved the mystery and the antagonism, and I was breathless waiting for that moment when it would all come together. Needless to say, I wasn't disappointed. This one left me with a big grin. My only complaint, is that I didn't want it to end. I wanted more!
And last but definitely my favorite of the bunch:
The Hating Game by Sally Thorpe: What a fantastic, funny and dead sexy read. I devoured this one, and was left wanting more. I loved the antagonist romance, the humor and the sexual tension. This was Ms. Thorne's debut novel, and I am over the moon impressed with it. I cannot recommend this one enough. I guarantee that this will end up on my best of 2016 list, and perhaps be my favorite book of the year. Run out and get this one now!
These are my recent favorite romantic reads. Now tell me some of your favorites!
