Tell Me Something Tuesday is a weekly discussion post here on Rainy Day Ramblings where I discuss a wide range of topics from books to blogging. Weigh in and join the conversation by adding your thoughts in the comments. If you want to do your own post, grab the question and answer it on your blog.
This week's question:
Spring Picks for 2017
I can't believe I am already writing up another picks for the season post. However, I am thrilled that Spring is on the way. It has been a long Winter. I don't know about you all, but I am more than ready for some sunny reading in my backyard, at the beach or anywhere the sun is shining. Nothing feeds my soul like a good book and some sunshine. With that in mind, I have a list of some of my most anticipated picks for Spring 2017. (Click on covers for details).
Young Adult Picks:
I was a huge fan of Ms. Taylor's Daughter of Smoke and Bone. So I am more than eager to see what she has in store for us this time. This one promises a strange new world, a mysterious goddess and dreams. Sounds interesting, right? This one hits shelves on March 28th, perfect for Spring Break reading.
I have rediscovered Ms. Armstrong in the last few months. I love her adult series: Casey Duncan. This is a YA mystery/ thriller, and I can't wait to see what Ms. Armstrong has cooked up. This one is out on April 18th
I confess at the time of writing this post, I haven't read the second book. I am hoping to get it done before this third one releases. I love the world building and the story telling, and I am most interested to see how the romance will play out. Look for this one on May 2nd.
This is the seventh book in The Graveyard Queen Series. I love this creeptatistic series with its ghosts and graveyards. Hopefully, the romance will be resolved one way or another in this one. If you want a fantastic creepy read, look for this one on March 28th.
I recently read and loved All the Missing Girls, so I am most anxious to see what Ms. Miranda has come up with this time around. I love a smart thriller and this one promises to be just that. Fingers crossed that it lives up to expectations. This one releases on April 11th.
This book looks like a delightful, sweet and cozy romance. I enjoyed The Coincidence of Coconut Cake, and I am hoping this one is just as charming. I am also excited about the whole Apple Cider theme. You can find this one on May 16th
I read and enjoyed The Girl on the Train last winter, and I can't wait to read more from Ms. Hawkins. If you are looking for a suspenseful psychological thriller for the season, this is one to check out. This one comes out on May 2nd.
What can I say? This is written by the dynamic duo who also pens the Kate Daniels series. It has been far too long since the first book came out, and I have been eagerly awaiting this one. Don't let the cover mislead you, this is an edgy and exciting UF series with terrific characters. You can finally get your hands on this book on May 30th.
This past winter, I have rediscovered John Grisham. I used to read him all the time, and for whatever reason I strayed away. Grisham delivers exciting, legal thrillers packed with suspense and danger. This one will be out just it time for early summer reading or late Spring if you prefer on June 6.
So those are my must read picks for Spring 2017. A more eclectic mix from me as I have found my reading habits have changed quite a bit over the last year. I am reaching for more and more adult books and old go to authors. What are your picks for the season?
Next week's TMST question:
