Happy Easter! I want to take a minute and reflect. Today would have been my mom's 68th birthday. A year ago, we were still living in blissful ignorance, not knowing we were just days from receiving a life altering diagnosis. We are all missing her so much, especially today. My heart hurts because last year, I was waiting for her to come over and visit, and it is hard knowing she will never come again. This past year has been incredibly hard as we all made it through all the firsts..... and today is probably one of the hardest of the firsts. Still, I know that somehow she is watching over us. Hugs, Mom. I hope your first birthday in heaven was lovely.
Now onto bloggy stuff. I am still not fully back into the blogging groove, but I have been better. My dad has been here for three weeks, but he left this morning so things should get back to a normal routine. I can't believe we are headed into the final slide toward the end of the school year. I am more than ready for summer and lots of sunshine.
I hope you all had a fantastic week and a lovely Easter.
