Here is the scintillating topic of the week:
Vacation Reading: What books would you pack for your vacation?
Ahhh... summer vacation reading. What do you prefer when relaxing? Do you like fun, uplifting romances/ chick lit books, or are you more inclined to grab a thriller? I am all about fun and uplifting when I am relaxing, so for me it is going to be light and fun books for my summer vacation. Here are some of the books I am looking forward to this summer and a few I will definitely be reading on my vacations.
The Kiss Quotient by Helen Hoang: This book is getting a lot of buzz this summer. Everyone is head over heels over this cute romance. It is being billed as the must read romance of the summer.
The Late Bloomer's Club by Louise Miller: I loved this author’s first book: The City Baker’s Guide to County Living, so I am eager for her follow up. This is a book about two head strong sisters’s a small town and a dog, and plenty of food.
The Perfect Couple by Elin Hilderbrand: Hilderbrand writes addictive books with flawed characters. This time summer wedding season is disrupted by a murder. This one features characters from several other of her big hits.
I Think I Love You by Lauren Layne: I think I can just say Lauren Layne and romance and that should be enough.
Kill the Farm Boy by Kevin Hearne and Delilah S Dawson: I am a huge fan of Hearne’s Iron Druid Chronicles, so I am anxious to see what he is going to do next. This promises to be a Princess Bride spoof.
These are a few of the books I am wanting to read on summer vacation. What about you all?
